On June 17 the Foundation presented the book Ateneu Barcelona ‘The left front of the Privatization of Health’ in front of about a hundred people.

At 12 June Saturday 25 Navalagamella, 40km from Madrid, close to Valdemorillo be held 12 hours in solidarity with the aim of presenting the youth brigades who come every summer to Palestine to defend human rights through opposing illegal colonization carried out by the State of Israel in the Palestinian territories. The brigade, built Palestinian homes demolished by the State of Israel.
The brigades, which already have several years of work, are a cooperative effort organized by the Foundation along with other entities such as Pau Ara i Sempre o Action Network and the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions (ICAHD).
The conference, intended as a playful effort of solidarity, will feature workshops on ceramics, oriental dance, reflexology, children’s area, Arabic food, exposure of the brigade develop activities on the trip and will conclude with a concert of rock, Ska and Reggae .

Ties is to work to encourage participation in democratic life and politics of immigrants, which is led by our Foundation, and receives the collaboration of the Catalan Association for Peace and supported by the Foundation of social work of the Fund.

In Catalonia have developed various interventions and projects to encourage participation by newcomers in various fields such as education, employment, cultural, etc.. However, the participation of newcomers to the democratic and basic political rights are long overdue for citizens to become active. Other project objectives are firstly, the identification of various barriers to access to institutions, organizations and mechanisms for participation, and secondly, improving intercultural skills and mediation of different political actors.
